We started our day at the dentist’s office, which happens to be right next door to a popular ukay-ukay (2nd hand) shop. My team of Filipinas wandered into the thrift shop and went to searching for hidden gems among the chaos. When it came time to pay, ONLY ONE of the ladies broke out some pesos and headed toward the cashier! The other two leaned on me hard to pay for their chosen garments but I held strong, my friends.
