My daughter’s mother (Baby Mama #009) called on Christmas morning and wanted me to bring our little girl to Manila. It would have been nice if she had given me a call (or answered my calls) the night before, but shit happens and that’s part of dealing with ex-wives / ex-girlfriends. If you have an ex-wife or a baby mama, you know exactly what I’m talking about. These vixens always expect you to conform to their schedule at the drop of a hat, regardless of what you have planned.
Anyway, I got to spend Christmas with our daughter so I wasn’t complaining and fair is fair. I quickly loaded up the entire crew and we jumped a trike over to the Victory Liner Bus station in Olongapo. Here’s a look at our turn-and-burn trip down to Las Pinas and back.
On the trip down to Manila, Forrest G. took the GOLD medal for the noisiest baby on the bus. Maria took the SILVER. Then, the conductor of the bus did what I refer to as a cattle call in San Fernando and things got crowded.
This will be the last time I take Victory Liner to or through Manila. My new scheme of maneuver will be to take the bus from Olongapo to Angeles City and eat Mexican food at Tequila Reef. Then, I’ll take the Genesis Point 2 Point bus from SM Clark down to Terminal 3 at NAIA. I’ll catch a GRAB from there.
No more sardine-can rides for the King, my friends.
