I thought we used around 1 kilo of rice per day here at the ranch. The estimate was wrong. My scientific experiment has come to a conclusion and the data is in. Here’s the first video explaining how the test was conducted:
Here’s the data:
20 kilos issued on July 28th at 1:45 PM. (already cooked rice in the morning so this counts as a half day)
Last cup of rice used August 9th at 5:45 PM which will close out the day.
Total Days: 12.5
20 kilos / 12.5 = 1.6 Kilos Per Day
1.6 X 31 Days = 49.6 Kilos Per Month (1 Big Bag)
Again, this is not exactly how much we eat here. I know for a fact that a few kilos of rice got sent to Fatima’s village. We routinely have other family members here eating. Regardless, right now my monthly rice requirement (AT LEAST) is 1 fifty-kilo bag which costs about 2,850 PHP / $49.75 USD.
The truth is, I probably need to double that amount. I need 100 kilos of rice per month which equates to $100 USD.
