I picked up an induction cooker at SM Olongapo Central last Sunday. I gave it a test run and made some Creamy pork goulash. I like the setup because it cooks slow and steady but with an immediate heat up time. However, it won’t get the skillet hot enough to do stir fry. I think the problem is that the induction cooker is only 1600W. With the heft and thickness of the Lodge 3.2 Quart Cast Iron Combo Cooker, I probably need an induction cooker that’s 2200W. If you’re going to buy an induction cooktop, I’d say it’s best to spend a little bit more money and get the higher wattage.
